Positive: The newly renovated apartment is spotlessly clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. As mentioned in the description, the view from the living room windows is absolutely lovely. Communication with the very friendly and helpful owner was thorough; responses to my inquiries were always promptly answered. I especially appreciated the - again - spotlessly clean washing machine. It's wonderful to be able to do laundry while traveling, especially without having to deal with moldy and disgusting soap dispensers, rubber gaskets, and drums before washing the first load. This is not a criticism, but something about which potential renters must be aware. The apartment - and entire building - is not suitable for people who have mobility issues. The steps to the guest rooms and apartment are steep and old. The apartment not only has an old beam stretching across it at knee level, but also open steps, sans railing, to the sleeping loft. Both can be tricky and present trip hazards. While the beam can be seen in the photographs, it's not readily apparent; I admit I missed it while reviewing the photos prior to booking the accomodation. If I had youngsters, I'd also think carefully about the apartment.
Negative: A caddy or shelf in the shower to contain soap, shampoo, etc would be helpful.
